We made it to our destination of South Haven, Kansas, on Sunday, June 7th around 8:00p.m.  The trip went good and we had no major breakdowns or blown tires.  Everybody was excited to leave Minnesota.  It has been an unusually wet and cold spring in northern Minnesota.  One of the hired guys did get the flu in Nebraska on the way down so we had to leave him there in a motel room with my car.  He made it to South Haven the next day and was feeling much better.
As far as the crops go they are very patchy.  Some fields look great and some not so great.  We were going to try and do a sample on Wednesday, but as luck would have it, it rained. 
The temperature has been in the 80s and 90s and hopefully the crops will be ready to go soon.
